CORDOBA, 17 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Post has released a stamp dedicated Friday at the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, within the stamp series 'World Heritage', that is intended to disseminate the Spanish monuments declared World Heritage by UNESCO, su cultural wealth for the natural, in order to contribute to its preservation to the common heritage of humanity.
As reported by Mail, The stamp issue is now on sale on the net more 2.300 multiservice post offices throughout Spain -47 Cordoba and its province- and other outlets postage stamps. Also, citizens and customers who wish, collectors may get to the end, only a few days, a stamp postmarked First Day of Circulation’ that has been used Friday in the main post office in Córdoba, Cruz Conde street.
The issue dedicated to the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba consists of a souvenir sheet of Philately who played one of the doors from the time of Al Haken II, in which is inserted a circular seal, whose motive is the face of a two Euro coin with the image of the interior of the monument, struck in the first half of 2010.
The block sheet philately stamp has a postage value of two euros and its circulation is 310.000 units. It has been printed by the Fabrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre by the process of intaglio and offset, on coated paper, gummed, mate y fosforescente. The seal, designed in circular format, has dimensions of 32 millimeters in diameter and a toothed. The souvenir sheet that houses the seal has measurements of 104,5 by 150 mm, en formato vertical.
